"What would you do?" Erick "El Cubo" Torres asked me a few weeks ago when we ran into each other after an interview on the program "Nación ESPN." The question was posed right in the middle of a cut, when the studio lights were down and people were speaking in hushed tones. So I think it’s a matter of confidence and rhythm, and in Mexico I didn’t have as many opportunities. You have reached a degraded version of because you're using an unsupported version of Internet Explorer.įor a complete experience, please upgrade or use a supported browserĮrick "El Cubo" Torres facing a tough decision "That’s a question I’ve thought about a lot, is why I was able to have success in MLS compared to Mexico, and I think it’s due to the fact that as a player you get confidence in the rhythm when you’re playing consistently," he said. "In MLS I was able to have that opportunity and it gave me confidence. New teammate Jurgen Damm also occupies that category.Īnd that shifting attitude is validation of a sort for Torres, who still thinks he could've been more of an impact player in Liga MX with a bit more faith from his coaches. LAFC's Carlos Vela, the LA Galaxy's Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, Sporting Kansas City's Alan Pulido and Inter Miami's Rodolfo Pizarro have all arrived since his departure. The influx of Mexican talent to MLS might be the most obvious difference for Torres since he last played here. "If I was able to get called up before to the national team when I was in MLS under managers like Osorio and Herrera, then now surely with Tata being in charge, if I’m playing well and doing my best, then the news will definitely reach him as well." When I was with Houston, there were very few. "Because I think things have changed, and you guys in the media know very well that there’s more eyes on MLS than I think ever before, the level of play and some of the quality Mexican players that are in the league. "I think here that if I play well, if I’m focused, concentrated, putting in good performances, then that news will reach Mexico," Torres said. And with many more Mexican players in the league now than in previous years - and former Atlanta manager Tata Martino in charge of El Tri - he doesn't believe his most recent lukewarm period at Club Tijuana closed a door to his international career. Chivas originally farmed him out to Chivas USA, where he scored a career-best 16 goals during the 2014 campaign, and he followed a brief unproductive run at Cruz Azul with 14 MLS goals for the Dynamo in 2017, his third season there.Įach of those successful stretches resulted in brief call-ups for El Tri. Torres, of course, is already a familiar face to MLS fans. Torres later continued: "I think this is a place that I’d like to be for a long time, so I’d like to show what I can do, to score goals and help the team to compete for these titles." But that’s one of the reasons why I came is because this is a club that is not only competing but constantly fighting for titles, and I want to be a part of that to help the team to do that. "So I know what being at a big club comes with. " a club that has shown it’s one of the biggest clubs in MLS, it’s already competing for championships, it’s already won a title in its second year of existence, and I’m a player who’s been at big clubs before, so I know the expectations, playing for Chivas, Cruz Azul," Torres said through an interpreter. In a conference call with reporters on Wednesday, the former Chivas USA and Houston Dynamo striker revealed he plans on being part of the big picture for Atlanta, which could eventually put him in direct competition with Martinez for minutes in 2021. And the striker even hopes he can perform well enough in Atlanta for long enough to attract the attention of his national team. The 27-year-old Mexican does not, however, view himself as a temporary solution. The negotiations that brought Erick "Cubo" Torres to Atlanta United may owe largely to the ACL tear J osef Martinez suffered in Week 1 of the 2020 season.

We review a lot of products but this one is a glowing review- quite literally! As my system has been setup correctly to append my lab domain name to short name addresses this will work just fine for me. In the first example I have only provided a short name for the ‘Server name’ attribute – either a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or IP address is also a valid option. The next step is to add some sessions to this group – in this case I will add the two domain controllers from my home lab. We will come back to the other menu options later in the article so for now don’t worry about them. As you can see below I have given the group a name of ‘Domain Controllers’ and also added a comment. We are presented with a new menu which gives us the chance to configure inheritable options for the remote desktop sessions which will be added to this group. Let’s add a new group and review some of the options provided to us. It is possible to add servers (remote desktop sessions) directly to this root object however I would recommend you create a logical folder structure to better organise and manage your connections. Now that we have our root level group created we can begin to create a folder structure to represent the various systems we manage on a daily basis. Assuming all is good though this is a great way of building out a connection profile that can be shared between admins and new starters. rdg file with other people – if you’re going to do this I’d suggest removing any credentials you may have saved (see below) or it may cause problems when they try to open and use it. I typically suggest saving this to your personal documents folder as it most cases in a business you are the only user to have access and it is likely backed up so you won’t lose it if your workstation dies on you. It’s important to consider where this will be stored as we can store authentication credentials within this object. The RDCMan group object will contain all of our settings, folder structures and remote desktop sessions. We can either use the typical Windows shortcut of Ctrl+N to create a new item or via the File menu. Let’s take a look at the interface following a standard installation –įollowing installation we have a basic screen with various menu options – we need to create a new ‘RDCMan Group’ which has a file extension of. Well seeing as you asked so nicely I shall provide you with a link to the official download page!Ĭurrently we are on version 2.7 although to be fair it isn’t updated very often, the last release was on the 18th November 2014. I’m planning to be pretty in depth on this post so expect lots of screenshots and info. It’s a great tool that makes life far easier and in this post I’ll cover some of the cool things you can do with it. This is something I had done in the past till I came across the Remote Desktop Connection Manager software from Microsoft. I was speaking to somebody recently about how they connect to many remote Windows systems – in this instance they were opening up multiple MSTSC.exe windows and connecting that way. This is a very nice formula that provides a smooth canvas for makeup and aids in allowing your foundation to wear longer and look fresher.Į.L.F. If you didn’t really like the solid formula I think you’ll be pleasant surprised by the liquid version. If you have drier skin like I do I think you’ll get on just fine with it. This has a silky smooth finish but for some reason I felt the solid felt a bit more matte. One thing I do think deserves mentioning is it feels like the solid version might be a bit more matte in finish than this new version. It did a nice job extending the wear of both my foundation and blush as well and I felt my makeup looked fresher after several hours of wear. After several hours the formula didn’t feel greasy nor oily and still felt as smooth as the when I applied it. I’m not particularly keen on silicone primers but this wore comfortably on my drier skin and left it feeling smooth with a light, silky finish. I don’t have visible pores on my face but do have smaller ones on my nose and this did an excellent job blurring those. It’s a bit runny but has a lightly creamy consistency that applies easily and didn’t pill. Like the original this is a light pink color. The original is nice but I do like like the new consistency and packaging on this new version. I’ll go so far and as to say I like the new formula and packaging better than the original. If you search Locksmith Matthews, NC my listing does not show up at all. Keep in mind the GMB is in Matthews, NC All my service areas and the actual map show the correct areas. You can also vacuum out the ash, but again, do so only when the grill is 100% cold and there’s no possible chance of lingering embers.Traeger suggests using “a small metal fireplace shovel or other similar tool” (something like this shovel should work just fine) and disposing of ashes in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid. You should clean out the ash only when the grill is completely cool. Too much ash collected in the firebox can keep pellets from igniting and, in some cases, redirect the smoke backward and up through the pellet hopper. Clean out the ash that accumulates in the fire pot and the bottom of the firebox. But you don’t need to stress about a clogged grease chute if you keep your drip pan clean in the first place. Make sure the chute is unobstructed so grease can flow from the pan to the bucket-if the chute gets clogged, you run the risk of a grease fire. Inspect the grease chute between the grease-collection pan and the bucket that hangs off the side of the grill. It’s easiest to clean the grease pan while the grill is still warm (not hot), so protect your hands with gloves or towels. Then scrub it with hot soapy water and a scour sponge before rinsing and drying. But if you forget to do that part-like I did-you can remove the drip pan and scrape off most of the fat and gunk with a putty knife. The simplest solution: Line your drip pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil so you can easily discard the greasy mess after you cook. Fat accumulation can lead to grease fires, and those aren’t fun.

Many workplaces are still environments of walls and high panels in which a select few get the benefits of things like natural light. Jim: Every workplace needs to have a comfortable area of refuge for people to work quietly and decompress. This is their face to the community which just begins to hint at the wonders inside of the Plano campus.ģ60: What’s one thing that every workplace needs? Jim: The team wanted to have a space to highlight their brand and history as well as a place to gather with their team and hold large events. What was the thinking behind the design of the entry area? They are supplemental spaces and are filled as the staff numbers grow.ģ60: The lobby of the building is spacious and filled with natural light. These go from high storage with stools to soft seating with small meeting tables. In addition, we integrated areas where we fit in soft collaboration spaces along the module of the system that were the same footprint as two workspaces. Each workspace is a “kit of parts” that can be relocated to make the space flex as needed. Jim: We worked very hard to minimize the hierarchy of the real estate and to allow for easy flexibility and growth into the workplace. Each floor has its own design personality, but still has the thread of the company’s brand woven into the design.ģ60: The office features several more residential social spaces. The team centralized the large conference spaces around this area providing pre- and post-meeting spaces as well as informal meeting spots. People are greeted by a playful lounge and coffee area on each floor upon leaving the staircase. It accesses each group’s town center and encourages natural interactions. We celebrated that idea by creating a beautiful stairway which serves a dual purpose. The organization wanted the team members to get to know each other better and engage more frequently in aless formal space. Jim: Our challenge was to bring two groups within the office team together under the same roof for the first time, in addition to bringing the team together into larger consolidated floor plans. Can you tell us about the town centers you implemented and why this was a key goal of the project? We work hard to make each environment unique and a reflection of their business.ģ60: Your team helped this organization transition from a space with silos and clusters to something much more open and collaborative environment. Having a lot of creeping buttercups is often a good indicator that the soil suffers from poor drainage and constant water logging and action needs to be taken to improve the drainage. Creeping buttercup is common on wet lawns.Ĭreeping buttercup is a herbaceous perennial weed, which is also known as creeping crowfoot and sitfast. "Going to the movies used to be an event, so that's what we've recreated here," said Stata. The large reupholstered seats, the thick velvet curtains and the ornate wall coverings take older patrons down memory lane and give the younger crowd a chance to experience bygone days. The result of his labour of love is that each of his cinemas - the largest seats 200 - provides a plush movie-viewing experience. In all, he has snapped up contents from 450 defunct cinemas including a "porn house" in Indiana, the International Cinema in Toronto and small town theatres across Canada, selecting the best for his theatres. As small movie theatres closed up across North America, Stata, who used to run a construction business, began picking up used equipment and projectors. That's when Stata decided to expand and add a second screen, then a third, fourth and, by 1996, a fifth screen, in sizes comparable to those found in multiplex cinemas. But gradually the word got out and, by the mid-1980s, Stata found himself turning away hundreds of movie patrons. People thought it was a just a TV in the basement because it was in a house," said Stata, who as a 6-year-old got his start as a theatre operator in the family woodshed charging 2 cents a head. Stata started modestly in 1979 with a 58-seat theatre, "where the rec room should be," in his newly built house. "We get so many people that it's unreal," said Kinmount's unlikely movie mogul. Churko and her friends didn't have to line up to buy their $7.50 ticket - Thursday is the quietest night of the week - but once school is out for the summer and the cottagers arrive in droves, it's a different story, said Stata. It also seems no one is concerned about the other wildlife, which includes raccoons and a black bear with a fondness for popcorn, although a bat that found its way inside during the screening of the Blair Witch Project did cause at least one woman to run out in panic. The first time we came, the lineup was right around the parking lot, so we got eaten alive," said Kellie Churko, 31, of nearby Haliburton. The millions of mosquitoes that lurk in the bush surrounding the parking lot invade the theatres every time the doors open, so regulars know that a liberal dose of bug spray before you get out of the car is a good idea. In Theatre 3, where Skanun and his nephew, Matt Adams, 11, were among 30 people who turned up to watch Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty, the air was an unusual aroma of popcorn and bug spray. "We've got 12 grandchildren and every one of them prefers seeing a show at Highlands to going to a big city movie theatre," said Ruby Wilkes, whose family has owned a cottage on a nearby lake for three generations. For many cottagers in the surrounding 80-kilometre radius, a visit to Stata's theatre has become a summer tradition. My first reaction was: "It's incredible,' " said Wesley Skakun, 41, of Vancouver as he lined up to buy popcorn - $4 for a decent sized combo - at the theatre during a recent visit. "It's not your average movie theatre, that's for sure. Only when you step through the double-glass doors - where the garage should be - do you realize you've stepped into a celluloid oasis. The only hint is a small marquee that's largely obscured. Hidden in a bit of bush, on the hill just outside the village limits, it looks like an average two-storey house. "It's on the left as you go out of town, you can't miss it," said the clerk behind the counter of one of Kinmount's two general stores.
